The 2020 AZADV conference will be hosted by the Louisville Zoo in Louisville, Kentucky September 22-26, 2020.

Opened in 1969, the Louisville Zoo currently exhibits more than 1,500 animals on 134 acres of natural settings representing zoo geographical areas, specific habitat types or special education areas including Glacier Run, Africa, Islands, New World Exhibits, Australian Outback, the HerpAquarium and the Metazoo Education Center. The Zoo's award-winning exhibits, Islands, Gorilla Forest and Glacier Run, have been recognized by AZA for their excellence and innovation.

Louisville, Kentucky is a city located at the Falls of the Ohio River, the only non-navigable point between Pittsburg and New Orleans on the Ohio and Mississippi rivers. The city came to exist at this point to handle portage around the falls. Today the metropolitan population is about 1.3 million people, including a large community immediately across the river in Southern Indiana. The Zoo is located about 15 minutes from downtown Louisville.

The conference hotel will be The Gault House located in downtown Louisville.
